Fun at Grandma Suzie's

During Spring Break, we went to visit Grandma Suzie and Grandpa. And Blake and Joni. We did not have a very good drive because Kennedie got bored and was tired. We stopped in Beaver (a 1 1/2 hour drive) to feed her, but she wouldn't eat. We decided to get back in the car and Kennedie started to whine and cry. So I got in the back seat to play with her while Jeramie kept driving. She finally fell asleep. We had a great relaxing weekend.
We took a day and spent in Salt Lake. We rode the FrontRunner down and walked around the Gateway to shop. Then we went to Temple Square. We took Kennedie to see the Christus and then to the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to look at the temple.

We also went and watched Blake perform. Kennedie was hard to handle. She wants to be everywhere, but can't really get herself there. She is extremely busy and tires us out.

Jeramie got some new golf clubs when we went shopping and wanted to try them out. So he went golfing with Blake, Curtis, and Dad. He won!

We had a BBQ and Curtis, Elise, and their family came. It was a great weekend and we had so much fun seeing everyone again. Kennedie's favorite part of the weekend was the trampoline.

Watch her feet. They are constantly moving. And they move more when she gets excited.

New car seat

Kennedie was getting pretty heavy in her car seat so we decided to get her a rear facing seat that will eventually face forward. We put her in the box and she liked it...she kept looking at the holes in the corners and trying to get the light coming from them.

She loves her new car seat. Everything is easier for her to see and she loves looking out the window.

Look at my sandals...

We got these sandals from Grandma Dawn (a friend and fellow 5th grade teacher). She got these for Kennedie before she was born. We were so excited for her to wear these, but they have been too small. We put them on for church and she kept them on surprisingly well.

7 Months Old Already

We know this is late, but at least it's getting posted.
Well, Kennedie is growing so much. And so fast. We are excited to see how she changes everyday and also sharing with everyone the new things she is doing.

Sorry these are late...

The following posts are late. We apologize. But it's better late than never, right?!

6 months has gone by fast!

Kennedie is six months. She is getting so big. She can roll over and can sit by herself for short periods of time. We went to the doctor on the 13th and she is 15 and 1/2 pounds. She only cried for about 5 minutes after her shots. She is changing so much. She is starting to lean out of her Bumbo seat and we decided to get her a high-chair. She loves it! The first time we put her in it, her feet started kicking so fast. Another thing she does is arch her back and look behind her, especially when we try to feed her. She is interested in everything going on around her and wants to know about everything.

Since this blog is a little late (we took her bear pic on the 10th) we wanted to let you know that Kennedie is sitting up on her own for much longer (sometimes for up to 45 minutes). She enjoys sitting and playing with all of her toys. Her favorite is anything she can get her mouth on.

Lights Out...

We came home one night after shopping and the lights were really dim. Then the power went out. We gave Kennedie a small flashlight to play with (she is intrigued by lights). She put is straight to her mouth. It lit up her cheeks and made them glow. It was so cute we couldn't pass up this picture moment.

PICKLES!!!

We were making sandwiches one day and decided to give Kennedie a pickle. Well, it turns out she really likes them. She loves chewing on them.

Fun at Grandma Suzie's

After Christmas we went up to Grandma Suzie's. We stayed there for a week and had so much fun. Great Grandma and Grandpa Tubbs were able to see Kennedie for the first time. And Great Grandma and Grandpa Nelson saw how much she has grown since her blessing. We enjoyed a relaxing week and Kennedie loved playing with everyone. She even helped Grandma Suzie with the laundry.

Merry Chirstmas!

Kennedie loved the wrapping paper. She did love her presents too, but the wraping was her favorite part. Tyson and Tanner (the boys she plays with) got her some stacking rings and church shoes. Santa brought her a toy and we bought her some clothes.
