Kennedie really liked Sea World--it was the best part of the trip. She loved seeing all the fish and animals. Kennedie enjoyed the sharks and seeing them in the window underneath. We saw the sea lion show and Kennedie was excited. She loved watching them jump in the water. We then dashed over to see the Shamu show. Kennedie enjoyed that and watching them jump in and out of the water. She did finally fall asleep (she was exhausted!) so Jer and I went and saw the penguins and arctic animals. We then went to the Dolphin show which was disappointing. It was more about the acrobats than the dolphins. Kennedie woke up during the show and afterward we took her to see the penguins, polar bears, and walrus. Then we spent about 30 minutes back at the Shamu/whale tank. There is a huge window to look through and we watched one of the whales swim by. It was HUGE! That was my favorite part of the day.
The next day we went to San Diego Zoo. It was alright, but not as fantastic as I thought it would be. We did have a good day though and saw all the animals we wanted to see. Kennedie again fell asleep from exhaustion. That afternoon when we got home, we relaxed for a while, then went to the beach. Kennedie was unsure at first and then when the water washed over her feet, that was it. She hated that and her feet were "yucky" (covered in sand). She spent the rest of the time playing on the towels and watching Daddy swim. Jer enjoyed swimming in the ocean. I preferred to stay out of it because it was freezing. And someone had to watch Kennedie.
We loved our trip and can't wait to save up and go again.

Looks like you guys had a great time. So jealous, always wanted to go Sea World. :)
That sounds like it was a wonderful trip. We need to get out and do something like that too. Sorry we missed you while you were up to Roy.
