Coming Home
We brought an outfit to bring Kennedie home in, but it didn't fit quite as well as we thought it would. But we still think she is adorable! She loves to ride in her car seat, but not getting into it.

Kennedie Jaye
Kennedie Jaye was born on July 10th. We are so excited to have her here. The pregnancy went well until about week 37. We went to our appointment and the doctor wanted to do some testing for preeclamsia/toxemia because of the testing they do their in the office. I had to do a 24 hour urine test (oh what fun that was!). And then I had to do some blood work. The doctor called me on Monday the 7th to tell me the blood work came back normal but they had not received the other results. On Wednesday, we went in for our regular appointment and the doctor told us the test came back and the numbers for the protein in my urine were extremely high. Normal is about 300, mine were at 6000! The doctor asked if we wanted to have a baby that day. Of course we did! We had Kennedie early Thursday morning. The doctor wanted to be very aggressive with getting her here as soon as they could without doing a c-section if possible. The doctor came in about 4 am to have me start pushing. They had to bring in the vacuum to help get her out, but everything went well. She was born at 4:26 am. She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. She has light brown hair and it looks like it might be curly like her mom's. She is the most beautiful baby!!
